Proven Ships Agency / Port Agent experience, specifically with Ro-Ro vessels / car carriers.
Strong knowledge of port operations and documentation processes.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple port calls.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including after-hours and weekends.
Job Overview
Attend to vessels in port and oversee all port call activities.
Coordinate berthing, loading/discharging operations, and sailing schedules.
Liaise with port authorities, terminal operators, transporters, and clients.
Arrange and manage vessel services (pilotage, tugs, bunkers, provisions, crew changes, etc.)
Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted timeously (port clearance, customs, cargo docs).
Monitor operations and resolve any issues or delays efficiently.
Provide regular updates to principals/clients on vessel status and operations.
Ensure compliance with port regulations and company procedures.
