Job Overview
Manage import shipments from pre-alert stage through to final delivery to customers.
Verify shipping and customs documentation to ensure compliance and accurate clearance processes.
Coordinate customs inspections, shipping line releases, transport arrangements, and delivery schedules.
Monitor shipment progress and provide customers with regular status updates and reports.
Maintain accurate shipment milestones, operational notes, and records within the freight management system.
Prepare shipment profit summaries, reconcile supplier invoices, and manage operational costs effectively.
Ensure containers are collected and returned within prescribed timelines to avoid penalties.
Liaise daily with customers, transporters, shipping lines, and internal departments to resolve operational queries.
Ensure all shipments are handled according to company SOPs, KPIs, and quality standards.
Minimize operational risks by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong attention to detail throughout the shipment process.
