Strong understating and knowledge of export processes, Incoterms and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication, attention to details and organisational skills.
Must know Cargo Wise system.
Job Overview
Export Operations & Coordination:
Coordinate and control export shipments, including airfreight, sea freight and road freight from order receipt to final delivery.
Working with internal teams (sales, transport department, warehouse) and external partners (agents, shipping lines, co-loaders).
Tracking of all export movements and responding to operations issues.
Placing of bookings with various lines and co-loaders.
Arranging collection of export cargo with our transport department.
Documentation Management:
Prepare, verify and process all export documents where required (Bill of Ladings, certificate of origins, SADAC, EURO 1 etc).
Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
Processing transport bookings, line bookings, clearing instructions etc.
Ensure that all documents, commercial invoice, packing lists etc received from shipper are correct and have all the required information as per SARS regulations.
Submitting to our customs department for final clearance.
Processing payment tasks with all accurate charges to be settled.
Completing of the final invoice to either shipper or nominated agents at final destination.
Updating all clients notes for status reports to be sent to shippers and or agents as required.
