Minimum Requirements

3 – 5 years’ experience in multimodal estimating within the freight forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge of airfreight, sea freight, and road freight operations.
Experience working with freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Customer-service orientated with strong relationship management skills.
Knowledge of import and export processes advantageous.

Prepare and manage quotations for airfreight, sea freight, and road freight shipments.
Obtain and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and service providers.
Analyze client requirements and provide the most suitable logistics solutions.
Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with operational requirements.
Liaise with operations teams regarding shipment routing, transit times, and service options.
Maintain and update pricing schedules and rate databases.
Follow up on quotations and assist with converting opportunities into confirmed business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and clients.
Monitor market trends, freight rates, and industry developments.
Assist with tender pricing and large project quotations when required.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and pricing policies.
Provide support to sales and operations teams where necessary.
Maintain accurate records and reporting related to estimates and quotations.
