Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric).
Studying towards a relevant supply chain management / logistics diploma or similar.
2 - 3 years’ experience in a Branch Manager 1 role or equivalent thereof.
Experience in managing 2 – 3 types of freight products.
Implementation of continuous Improvement principles.
Intermediate costing & budgeting knowledge.
Knowledge of labour legislation (BCEA, NBCRFLI Collective agreement etc).
Route planning.
Ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing.
High level of business acumen.
Coaching and mentoring skills.
Conflict resolution and mediation skills.

Job Overview
Develop and implement branch operational plans aligned with business objectives, client requirements, and service delivery targets.
Manage daily branch operations to ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and achievement of KPIs.
Oversee route planning, fleet utilisation, resource allocation, and cost management to optimise operational performance.
Monitor branch budgets, operational expenses, and financial performance to ensure cost control and profitability.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Manage third-party service providers, vendors, and outsourced resources to ensure service level compliance.
