Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain.

  • CargoWise Certified Specialist (minimum requirement).

  • CargoWise Certified Professional (advantageous).

  • Postgraduate qualification in Logistics Management (advantageous).

  • Microsoft Advanced Excel Certification (advantageous).

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operational processes.

  • Proven experience supporting CargoWise in an operational environment (3-5 years support experience).

  • Experience working with ticketing systems in a support or service desk context.

  • Understanding of SQL or similar query languages (advantageous).

Job Overview

  • Provide daily support for key CargoWise modules, including Forwarding, Customs, Warehousing, Transport, and Finance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to job creation, workflows, milestones and event management, rates, tariffs, charge calculations, eDocs, document workflows, EDI messaging, and failures.

  • Analyse reported issues, determine root causes, and implement system fixes or configuration updates.

  • Develop and maintain customizable reports.

  • Configure and manage users, roles, access permissions, and security profiles.

  • Ensure system settings comply with operational and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with onboarding new users and provide ongoing support and guidance.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies and messaging errors between systems.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address integration issues.

  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data from CargoWise through reports, queries, and dashboards.

  • Perform basic system performance troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.

  • Log, prioritise, track, and resolve support requests via a ticketing system.

  • Translate operational challenges into system enhancements or process improvements.

  • Stay informed about CargoWise updates, new modules, and features, assessing their impact on business operations.
