Diploma or Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Freight Forwarding (advantageous).
2-4 years ‘experience in shipping or freight environment.
Knowledge of Incoterms and internation trade practices.
Understanding of customs and import/export procedures.

Job Overview
Shipment Coordination
Arrange and process airfreight, seafreight and road freight bookings.
Liase with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transport companies.
Track shipments and provide status updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and verify shipping documents including:
Commercial invoices.
Packing lists.
Bills of lading.
Air Waybills.
Delivery notes.
Export and import documentation.
Ensure compliance with SARS Customs regulations.
Capture and maintain accurate shipping data in internal system.
Assist with customs clearance processes and resolve shipment queries.
Freight & Cost Control
Obtain freight quotations and compare rates.
Verify freight invoices and ensure cost accuracy.
Maintain records of shipments and freight expenses.
Communication & Customer Service
Communicate with suppliers, customers, clearing agents and transport providers.
Provide timely updates regarding shipment status, delays, or issues.
Resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Administrative Duties
